Welcome to our fifth edition of the Historic Quarter newsletter taking us into August. This newsletter has a focus on the High Street Heritage Action Zone (HSHAZ) and activities you can take part in. This includes a brand new exhibition opening at The Masham, with Navigator North focusing on Zetland Road and Artist in Residence Amy Davies; as well as the announcement of a weekly drop in every Thursday for people to catch up on all things arts and heritage as part of the HSHAZ. A little earlier in the year we were invited to have Middlesbrough showcased as part of a short film commissioned by Historic England and we’re delighted to share that with you. There’s also a look at a recent local school visit to the newly reopened Exchange Square and a specially designed Arts Award visit they took part in as part of a Heritage Schools project.
