The Oddfellows Hall

In the 100 years the Hall stood on Bridge St it was home to many of the town’s Mutual Aid and Masonic groups. Its many rooms hosted exhibitions and talks, possibly the most distinguished being given by Oscar Wilde, who was there in 1883. It closed sometime in the early 20th century.
